Academic programs
John Knox Preschool offers programs for children ages three, four and five. The three-year-old program is two days per week. The four- and five-year-old program is three days per week.
Three year old class
The Three-year-old program meets Thursday and Friday for the 25-26 school year from 9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. The class is limited to 12 students with at least two qualified teachers.
A sample daily schedule is as follows:
9:00-9:30 Students arrive/fine motor free play
9:30-9:50 Circle time-Theme unit
9:50-11:00 Free play, small group activities, large muscle activities
11:00-11:15 Circle time-Daily Routine/Theme review
11:15-11:30 Cleanup/Dismissal
Four-Five year old class
The Four and Five Year Olds program meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday for the 25-26 school year from 9:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m. The class is limited to 14 students with at least two qualified teachers.
